(Prerequisite: None) The application of instruments in the biotechnology laboratory will be discussed. Laboratory exercises will focus on methods of weighing, preparing volumetric solutions, serial dilution, temperature measurement, pH measurement and buffer preparation, pipeting, titration, basic electronics, and spectrophotometry.
