Prerequisite: Basic familiarity with standard sewing machine, arts and crafts, are helpful. Introduces students to safety procedures, basic design methods, and basic techniques of costume and accessory construction, tool use, fitting and draping, and costume shop organization through projects in cutting, stitching, and finishing costumes for production. 2 lecture hours; 2 lab hours per week.
