This course is a continuation of Transcription I, including transcription of authentic physician-dictated reports organized by body system or medical specialty. Emphasis is on development of accuracy, speed, medical knowledge for transcription of letters, chart notes, history and physical examination reports, consultations, emergency room reports, operative reports, discharge summaries, laboratory reports, diagnostic studies, radiology, and pathology reports. The student will develop and demonstrate the skills required using reference materials and other resources, editing and proofreading techniques, proper grammar and punctuation. Offered at WWTC
