This course provides instruction in alphabetic, numeric, subject, and geographic indexing/filing; management of general correspondence, card records and business forms; records control and retention; and creating and evaluating records/information systems. The student is taught how to create and maintain records both manually and on the microcomputer using Microsoft Access database program. BA 1003 or High School typewriting strongly recommended.
