This course is designed to provide foundations for teaching Mathematics on the elementary level. Selected topics will include rational numbers, decimals and applications, real numbers, probability, and statistics. Estimation, problem solving, and algebraic thinking are integrated throughout the course. Prerequisites: 1) Satisfaction of college admission requirements for Mathematics, or 2) Completion of MATH 0123 or MATH 0125 with grade of "C" or better. OSRHE Matrix: MA 303
