This is a course for students with little or no high school algebra background. It focuses study on fractions, signed numbers, algebraic expressions, linear equations, applications of linear equations, inequalities and graphing, exponents, and polynomials. Prerequisite: Appropriate score on placement test(s) or completion of MATH 0103 with grade of "C" or better. A grade of "C" or better will advance the student to MATH 0123
