This course is designed to provide foundations for teaching Mathematics on the elementary level. Selected topics include basic geometric ideas and notations, constructions, similarity, measurement, and motion geometry. Estimation, problem solving, and algebraic thinking are integrated throughout the course. Prerequisite: 1) Satisfaction of college admission requirement for Mathematics, or 2) Completion of MATH 0123 or MATH 0125 with grade of "C" or better. OSRHE Matrix: MA 301
