The student will relate the theory and operation of the turbine engines to the design, construction and maintenance of modern gas turbine engines including turbo jet, turbo fan, turbo prop and turbo shaft engines. The student will perform proper cleaning, disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly procedures on gas turbine engine exhaust, inductions systems, and engine-indicating system in accordance with manufacturer's manuals and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and advisory circulars.
