This course is designed to enable the student to define terms used in documentation control, engineering change orders and control, engineering work authorizations, product structure, product variations and families of products, documentation dependence, relation between casting and machining datum's and target points; understand basic casting methods, describe basic machining methods, correctly refer to and match all drawings, properly transfer location and tolerancing information from casting to machining drawings.
