AVF 201 - Flight-Instrument Theory

Prerequisite: AVF program coordinator consent required. This course is designed to serve as ground training for pilot instrument rating. Topics will range from airplane instruments, to Federal Aviation regulations, navigation systems, and aviation weather aeronautical decision-making. Students must pass the Stage One, Stage Two, and Stage Three knowledge tests with a minimum score of 80%. Four hours lecture/demonstration a week.
