Prerequisite: None Comprehensive course in ceramics construction. Includes several hand building methods as well as the basic use of the potters wheel. Students learn different techniques of decoration and glazing. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship and originality. Emphasis also on functional as well as sculptural work. Six studio hours a week.
