Prerequisite: ART 212 Introductory course stressing how to design, produce, and critique original pieces of sculpture using various media including modeling, assemblage, mold making, carving, and welding. Each student will be encouraged to develop his or her expressive ability through the technical process of the media. Occasional lectures on contemporary approaches in sculpture.
