Comments: The laboratory is part of the class. Description: This is the first half of an intermediate course in spoken and written Japanese. As a second-year course, it emphasizes reading and writing. Students are expected to have an active knowledge of Hiragana, Katakana, and approximately 50 to 80 Kanji.
