This course provides students with the opportunity to complete American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to keep the patrons of aquatic facilities safe in and around the water. First Aid/CPR is included. Additional hours required. Prerequisite: Swimming proficiency in an endurance swim and student must be at least 15 years of age and Reading Proficiency.
