AMST 212 is an interdisciplinary introduction that explores America's relationship with the rest of the world. Upon successful completion of AMST 212, the student should be able to: Gain a better understanding of the values which comprise the American character. Demonstrate an understanding of how our historical and cultural values have helped to determine how we relate to other cultures and ideologies. Understand the changes which have occurred in post WorldWar II foreign affairs. Develop a better understanding of national defense issues.
