Metrology introduces students to the theory and operation of precision measuring equipment. It includes the fundamental practice in the use and care of micrometers, vernier calipers, dial calipers, steel rules, and height gages. Students will practice basic layout with practical problems relating to the machine shop trade. The basics of Statistical Process Control (SPC) are also covered in this course. Offered at GCTC
