Prerequisite: PY 101 This course considers the characteristics of children with exceptional learning needs and examines the services required to assist these children in their total development. Special emphasis will be given to providing appropriate services in the least restrictive environment. Students must also complete a lab of forty-five (45) hours of observation in a pre-school or school setting.
