3 semester hours Prerequisite: None (Lec 2 hrs, Lab 2 hrs) This is an introductory course to the production practices of producing woody ornamentals as container plants and in field growing operations. Major topics will include propagation, soils and media, container selection, and methods of production. The student will develop an understanding of the procedures used to produce a wide range of plants used in the commercial landscape trade. (as needed)
