4 semester hours Prerequisite: CHM 112 ASCI (Lec 3 hrs, Lab 3 hrs) This course covers the theories, principles, and practices in standard gravimetric, volumetric, calorimetric, and electrometric analysis with special emphasis on equilibrium in acid-base and oxidation-reduction reactions and stoichiometry of chemical equations. Laboratory is required and will include classical techniques in chemical analysis, modern methods of chemical separation, and basic instrumental techniques. (on demand)
