Prerequisites: PNE041, PNE141, PNE143, PNE145, PNE148, PNE162, PNE167, PNE171, PNE172, BIO120, and MTH113 with a grade of "C" or betterCorequisite: PNE174 Medical-Surgical Nursing III is designed to provide the nursing student with the knowledge and skills to prioritize and implement nursing care toward a select group of patients according to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Emphasis will be placed on providing total care on a continuum from prevention through rehabilitation of the various dysfunctions. Team management theory and clinical experience are also incorporated into this course. (Su)
