Prerequisites: Completion of VAT102 and VAT103 with a grade of "C" or betterClinical Applications prepares the veterinary assistant student for actual duties involved in specific areas in the hospital. Included are instruction in sample collection, laboratory testing, radiology, administration of medication, and other tasks specific for nursing care and the surgical patient. A laboratory session is included to allow the student hands-on practice of techniques with live animals. (D)
