Prerequisite: COMPASS algebra score of at least 66 within the past three years, ASSET intermediate algebra score of at least 40 within the past three years, ACT math score of 20 or higher within the past three years, or MTH128 with a grade of "C" or betterStructure of the Real Number System presents topics from algebra within the context of the whole numbers, the integers, the rational numbers, and the real numbers. Students will study topics from algebra which are appropriate for elementary education majors. This course will fulfill the mathematics requirement for the Associate of Arts in Teaching degree.
