Prerequisite: None World Literature: Before 1650 examines historical, social, and philosophical thought as reflected in the literature of Western culture from the Hebrews and ancient Greeks through the Renaissance. In this course, students will study representative works of major authors including Homer and Sophocles, Virgil, and Dante. World Literature: Before 1650 will partially fulfill the humanities requirement for the Associate of Arts degree. (F)
