Prerequisite: CDA253 Building Mechanical and Electrical Systems is the third course in the advanced study of architectural drafting technology. The heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems for the residence designed in CDA124 and CDA253 are covered. Heat loss calculations and duct sizing of the heating and cooling system, design and layout of the electrical system, including circuit design and design and layout of the water and waste system, are accomplished in this course. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing isometric plans are made on the CAD system. (F)
