Prerequisites: AUT125 and AUT225 Auto Collision: Paint I is the first of four paint classes complementing the nonstructural and structural repair option. This course continues to prepare students for employment in the auto collision repair industry. This I-CAR certified course covers air preparation systems; mixing ratios and surface preparation for various body fillers, adhesives, primers, base coats, paints, hardeners, reducers, and sealers; and personal and shop safety regarding use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
