Focuses on the use of nursing process to provide care to mothers, infants, and families in the antepartal, intrapartal, and postpartal periods. May also include care of women with gynecological conditions. Includes math computational skills and basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Provides supervised learning experiences in cooperating agencies. Prerequisite: NUR 111. Prerequisite or co-requisite: SOC 200. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 9 hours. Total 12 hours per week.
