Focuses on the use of nursing process to provide care to children and families with acute and chronic problems or to prevent such problems. Includes math computational skills and basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Provides supervised learning experiences in cooperating agencies. Prerequisite: NUR 112, 204, 206. Open only to Paramedic to RN students. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 6 hours. Total 9 hours per week.
