May include modems, multiplexing, teletex and interfacing with telecommunication systems, such as local and area networks, microwave and satellite and delivery systems, fiber optic systems, and packet systems. Prerequisite: ETR 226. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
