Introduces students to the principles of radiography and factors controlling radiologic production and radiation protection. Radiation production, prime factors, radiographic film, intensifying screens, picture archived communication systems/computerized radiography, laser printers, and film processing are presented. Prerequisite: Admission into the Radiologic Technology program. Prior or concurrent enrollment in BIO 160, HSC 104, HSC 105, HSC 107 and HSC 112. Corequisite: RAD 102.
