Provides an in-depth study of radiation biology, radiation regulations and radiation measurements. Somatic and genetic effects of ionizing radiation is presented. Radiation safety practices for staff and patient/clients is covered. Prerequisite: BIO 161 and RAD 106 with grades of C or better. Corequisite: RAD 202, RAD 203 and RAD 205.
