Provides a continuation of topics covered in RAD 106 such as the principles involved in diagnostic X-ray production and radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Topics include X-ray production, electromagnetic interactions with matter, X-ray devices, equipment circuitry, targets, filtration, physics of computerized radiography and digital radiography, and dosimeter. Covers the application of physical concepts as related to X-ray image production. Prerequisite: RAD 106 with a grade of C or better. Corequisite: RAD 202, RAD 204 and RAD 205.
