Acquaints students with the American workplace. Explores the world of work and current issues and trends affecting employability. Introduces topics such as job/career assessment, individual education and employment plans, employment/life skills, job search techniques, employment documents, interviewing skills, employment practices and job retention skills. This course carries no transfer credit. Prerequisite: Enrollment limited to students counseled and enrolled through the Office of Access and Disability Services (ADS).
