Applies principles of radiologic positioning under the supervision of qualified registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) technologist. Emphasis on appendicular and axial skeleton. Principles of exposure, image quality and other associated professional skills. Placement of clinical assignment by program coordinator. Prerequisite: CPR American Heart Association Certification, BIO 160, HSC 105, HSC 107, RAD 102 and RAD 103 with grades of C or better. Prior or concurrent enrollment in BIO 161, HSC 201 and HSC 213. Corequisite: RAD 105 and RAD 106.
