Develops essential nursing medical and surgical knowledge and skills needed to provide nursing to clients with musculoskeletal, sensory, neurological, and renal dysfunction throughout the adult life cycle with emphasis on the older adult. Utilization of critical thinking, therapeutic communication, and the Neuman Systems Model is used through implementation of the nursing process. Health promotion and disease prevention will be address. Prerequisite: NUR 141 and NUR 151 with grades of C or better.
