Covers reading and writing whole numbers and whole number operations. Students will learn whole number operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division without the use of a calculator. Estimation is introduced as an aid to computation as well as place value and problem solving techniques with applications. Course material will be individualized. Carries no transfer credit. Prerequisite: Math placement test.
