Introduces the writing styles, design principles and techniques to develop and manage web sites for journalism outlets such as newspapers, magazines and broadcast stations. Demonstrates the design process through storyboarding. Illustrates considerations in planning navigation, linking and site maps. Includes transferring photos, audio and video images using web design software. Discusses legal and ethical issues that apply to new media. Upon completion of this course, students are strongly encouraged to select WEB 150 to further their knowledge of Internet technology and Web-authoring tools. (Formerly JNM 140) IAI MC 922 Prerequisite: MCM 130 and WEB 101 with grades of C or better.
