Applies principles of enforcement of traffic laws and the proper way to investigate traffic accidents. This course will address the Illinois Vehicle Code (laws), traffic law enforcement, crash investigations, officer safety issues and Field Sobriety Testing. Methods of documenting evidence are also examined along with hands-on classroom and field projects that increase student knowledge. Prerequisite: LEJ 101 with a grade of C or better.
