Provides an introduction to basic management theories, practices and functions with an emphasis on fire service leadership from the perspective of the company officer. Provides an introduction to the organization and management of a fire department and the relationship of government agencies to the fire service. Prerequisite: FIS 100 and FIS 121 with grades of C or better, or consent of program coordinator.
