Completes the cosmetology program with the following topics: wigs and hairpieces, electricity, disorders of the hair and scalp, scalp treatment, chemical relaxers and recurling, hair pressing, anatomy, chemistry, advanced perm waving and hair color, salon management and Illinois law. Provides students with the opportunity to prepare for the State Licensing Examination through review and testing in the theoretical and practical aspects of their training. Prerequisite: COS 112 with a grade of C or better.
