Expands upon CIS 168 by introducing students to Java input/output, threads, collections, networking, advanced Swing, Remote Method Invocation, Java Database Connectivity, and JAR files. Students will develop advanced Java applications that interact with files, the TCP/IP network, remote objects, SQL database, and GUI users. * ICCB approval of this course is pending. Prerequisite: CIS 168 with a grade of C or better, or consent of instructor.
