Investigates abdominal anatomy in the transverse, longitudinal, and coronal planes. Covers the normal and pathological sonographic appearances of abdominal structures related to sonography. Also includes normal variants, congenital anomalies, in depth coverage of specific organ physiology, related laboratory tests and scanning protocols. Prerequisite: DMS 202, HSC 104, HSC 105, HSC 107, HSC 112, HSC 201, HSC 213 with grades of C or better. Corequisite: DMS 205, DMS 206 and DMS 207.
