Introduces the main concepts of solar system astronomy. Topics include the fundamentals of astronomy, planetary motion, the Earth, the Moon, terrestrial planets, Jovian planets, small bodies in the solar system, the Sun, the formation of the solar system, other planetary systems, and the possibility of extraterrestrial life.
