Develops oral facility with the Arabic language using specially designed exercises in pronunciation, stress, and rhythm. Discusses individual readings of modern Arabic works in class. Assigns written and oral compositions based on readings. Helps students to bridge the gap between the intermediate and advanced levels. Develops the ability to uses the Arabic language with fluency of expression that is achieved by extensive oral conversations in class. Prerequisite: ARB 202 with a grade of C or better, or consent of instructor.
