Introduces Nonnative Literacy students to very basic computer literacy. Focuses on the vocabulary necessary for using the software and website links on computers in the AED classrooms at community sites. Explores a variety of life-skills and work-related topics on ESL websites. This course is for English Language Learners (ELLs) with limited formal schooling in their native countries. This is the first in a sequence of three courses for students enrolled in Harper College's AED Department Nonnative Literacy classes. Carries no transfer credit. * ICCB approval of this course is pending.
