Introduces students to the role of the systems analyst and the functions and techniques of business systems' analysis and design. Includes business systems analysis, requirements modeling, data and process modeling, object modeling, development strategies, user interface design, and systems implementation. Practical analysis and design skills are achieved through hands-on projects and interactive case studies. Prerequisite: CIS 143 and prior or concurrent enrollment in CIS 168, CIS 181 or CIS 182 with grades of C or better.
