Focuses on the study of grammatical structures and patterns of English for intermediate English as a Second Language students. Includes practice of patterns introduced previously. Emphasizes the recognition and production of grammatical structures and how these affect meaning in both spoken and written English. Carries no transfer credit. Prerequisite: Placement test or [ESL 040 and ESL 044] or ESL 046, ESL 050, ESL 057 or ESL 063 with a grade of C or better.
