Reviews basic computer literacy skills and the vocabulary necessary for using software and website links on computers in the AED classrooms and at community sites. Emphasis is on using computers to improve language learning. Further explores a variety of life-skills and work-related topics. This course is for English Language Learners (ELLs) with limited formal schooling in their native countries. This is the second in a sequence of three courses for students enrolled in Harper College's AED Department Nonnative Literacy classes. Carries no transfer credit. * ICCB approval of this course is pending.
