The theory and practical applications of the law of torts is covered. Students learn about torts through a study of the elements of the different causes of action. The fundamentals of complaint drafting, investigation and discovery are addressed so that the students are able to take an active role in planning and developing a lawsuit. Prerequisite: PLST 111.
