Project-oriented course covers the uses of computers in the music profession. Considers the language of MIDI, computer skills necessary to learn music software applications, and the process of design and set-up of a music technology workstation. Course projects provide instruction in basic computer skills, music sequencing and notation software skills, the language of MIDI, and operation of synthesizers. 30 Contact Hours.
