(1 credit) (.5 lecture, .5 lab) Medication Administration I is a lecture/ lab course that introduces the student to the legalities, scope of practice, drug classifications, abbreviations, and rights of medication administration. The focus is on nonparenteral routes including oral, topical, nasal, rectal, eye, and ear. Beginning awareness of the therapeutic and adverse effects of drug classifications to client care is highlighted. (Co-requisite: PSYC 2030, BIOL 2015)
